2026 Summer Reading Camp Intensive

We’re excited to share that in addition to our year-round one-on-one reading therapy, Beacon Learning will offer a FUN Summer Reading Intensive for students who would benefit from concentrated structured literacy instruction using the Orton Gillingham approach.

This small-group program (maximum of 5 students per dyslexia therapist) is designed to help rising kindergarten through 6th grade students maintain and build their reading skills over the summer so they return to school more confident and without losing the progress they’ve worked so hard to achieve. The program is led by a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Therapist and is specifically designed for students with dyslexia or ongoing reading/writing challenges.

Students will be grouped by skill level and instructional needs.

Students will work on:

• Explicit, systematic phonics and decoding
• Reading fluency development
• Reading comprehension and writing
• Skill reinforcement and progress monitoring

Program Details

• Monday–Thursday
• 10 hours of targeted instruction per week

Now Enrolling for:

• June 8–11,  9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• June 22-25,  1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
• July 27-30,  9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Tuition

Early registration before April 13, 2026: $395 per week
Registration completed after April 13th: $425 per week

*Full tuition is due at registration

Spots are limited to keep groups small and will be filled on a first-come basis. Groups are intentionally kept small so each student still receives highly individualized instruction and support.

Students may participate in one or multiple weeks. For students attending more than one week, each week’s progress will build on the previous one.

If your child is a current client, their regular tutoring sessions will pause during the week(s) your child participates in the camp.
